LEARNING THROUGH CLUBS IS ENJOYABLE |
I have always found learning through clubs easier, smoother and more natural than classrom learning.in fact adhering to a club is a personal choice that students make. They most of the time choose subjects or arts they like to learn, they are good at, they enjoy doing,or they are not brilliant at and just would like to improve the skills they couldn't improve through class learning. Thus we can say that most reasons are psychological especially if we add the reason that little kids base their choice of a club on which is the members of the club.
When parents and teachers ask beginners at school about the reason behind their choice of a club, they would generally answer : "because I like it" , or"because all my friends are there".This psychological comfort is what some students miss in class;they either dislike compulsory subjects or just feel ill at ease to ask ,answer questions or take part in a lesson infront of other students they don't know or worse students who they think will laugh at them in case they make mistakes.
Added to that is the friendly atmosphere in the club which is most of the time free of many classroom constrains such as the lack of time, length of the syllabus or lack of interest (by the teacher or the student) which tend to severely restrict the opportunities of some students with great potential to succeed in classroom learning.
